Children's books, juvenile and young adult books, movies and audio books newly available in January 2017.

            The new Easy Reader additions for January are This Book Is Out of Control!, by Richard Byrne; Penguin Problems, by Jory John; Otis and the Kittens, by Loren Long, in memory of Loretta Balekos; Ten On The Sled, by Kim Norman; Hiding Heidi, by Fiona Woodcock; and Cara’s Kindness, by Kristi Yamaguchi.  Also available this month is the Board Book Vroom, Vroom, Trucks!, by Karen Katz.

            New to the Juvenile Fiction collection this month are Heidi Heckelbeck and the Big Mix-Up, by Wanda Coven; Judy Moody and the Not So Bummer Summer, by Megan McDonald; StarChaser (TodHunter Moon Book 3), by Angie Sage; and Frazzled: Everyday Disasters and Impending Doom, by Booki Vivat.

            New Young Adult Fiction books available this month are The Fever Code (Maze Runner Book 5), by James Dasher; Dream On (Silver Trilogy Book 2), by Kerstin Gier; This Dark Endeavor: The Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein, by Kenneth Oppel; and Library of Souls (Book 3 of Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children), by Ransom Riggs.

            The new Non-Fiction books available this month are Who Was Charlie Chaplin?, by Patricia Brennan Demuth, in memory of Loretta Balekos; and What Was The Great Chicgao Fire, by Janet B. Pascal.

            The new audio book available for check-out this month is Stalking Ground, by Margaret Mizushima.

            New movies available for check-out this month are as follows: Ice Age: Collision Course; X-Men: Apocolypse; Independence Day: Resurgence; Love & Friendship, and Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.
