             The new Easy Reader additions for October are Ada Twist, Scientist, by Andrea Beaty; Scary, Scary Halloween, by Eve Bunting; Boo Who?, by Ben Clanton; We’re Going on a Spooky Ghost Hunt, by Ken Geist; The Man Who Loved Libraries: The Story of Andrew Carnegie, by Andrew Larsen; Creepy Pair of Underwear!, by Aaron Reynolds; Pete With No Pants; by Rowboat Watkins; and What Do You Do With a Problem?, by Kobi Yamada.

             New to the Juvenile Fiction collection this month are The Apprentice Witch, by James Nicol; Assassin’s Curse, by Kevin Sands; Olive and the Backstage Ghost, by Michelle Schusterman; and The Empty Grave, by Jonathan Stroud.

                New to the Young Adult Fiction section this month are Spellbook of the Lost and Found, Moira Fowley-Doyle; Under the Lights, by Abbi Glines; Tower of Dawn, by Sarah J. Maas; and Hunting Prince Dracula, by Kerri Maniscalco.

             New to the Juvenile Non-Fiction section this month is Who Is Wayne Gretzky?, by Gail Herman, in memory of Jean Stahl.  Also available in the Non-Fiction section this month is a series entitled Back From Near Extinction.  Individual titles are Giant Galapagos Tortoise, by Gail Herman, in memory of Marjorie Bollman; American Alligator, by Carla Mooney, in memory of Marjorie Bollman; California Condor, by Amada Lanser, in memory of Marjorie Bollman; Bald Eagle, by Anita Yasuda, in memory of Marjorie Bollman; Gray Wolf, by Tammy Gagne, in memory of Marjorie Bollman; Grizzly Bear, by Tammy Gagne, in memory of Marjorie Bollman and Jean Stahl; Humpback Whale, by Emily O’Keefe, in memory of Martha Landt and Laura Amdah; and American Bison, by Anita Yasuda, in memory of Marjorie Bollman.

             The new audio book available for check-out this month is Barely Legal, by Stuart Woods.  Several CDs were donated and are available for check out this month. They are as follows: The Bells of Christmas, by Glori ad Dei Ringers; Wide Open Spaces, by the Dixie Chicks; Faith, Hope and Love, by Danyell Tielke; Water Music Suite No. 1,2,3, by Handel; House of Love, by Amy Grant; Greatest Hits, by Shirelles; and Great Holiday Classics, by American Idol artists.

            The new movies available for check-out this month are Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, 300, The Butterfly Effect, Sucker Punch, Employee of the Month, Nanny Diaries, Grandma’s Boy, Aliens VS Predator, The Namesake, Revolver, and A Dog’s Purpose.
