Warren series by Lisa Gardner; Blood Oath, by Linda Fairstein; Cemetery Road, by Greg Iles; Dark Tribute, the 24th book in the Eve Duncan series by Iris Johansen; Wild Card, the 49th book in the Stone Barrington series by Stuart Woods; and historical mystery Death of an Eye, by Dana Stabenow.
